Is to foster a mutual friendship, goodwill and co-operation between business enterprises of Sri Lanka and the UAE.
GUIDANCE
To assist and guide Sri Lankan enterprises and business individuals keen in establishing or contemplating the establishment of a trading hub in the UAE.
FACILITATION
To facilitate an opportunity for Sri Lankan companies with a presence in the UAE and in working with local companies to regularly meet and act as a forum for the exchange of business information and opportunities.
B2B
To connect and coordinate SME’s between Sri Lanka and UAE and act as an intermediary between the two companies during their initial phase of setting up.
PROMOTION
To encourage, promote, support & maintain Trade, Investments, Technical and Economic co-operation, Employment and Tourism between Sri Lanka and the UAE.
RELATIONSHIP
To work in conjunction with the Sri Lanka Trade Office, operating as a private enterprise, and in assisting and liaising in the relationship between the UAE Chambers of Commerce, Sri Lankan Exporters Association and Government Organizations.
COORDINATION
To provide a link with various organizations, the likes of The Sri Lanka Tea Board, Export Development Board, Sri Lanka Tourist Board and Department of Agriculture for Export in Sri Lanka who are dedicated to the development of bilateral Middle East and/or Sri Lankan trade and corporate investment.
SOCIAL SERVICES
To encourage and sponsor education, personnel exchange and training schemes at the Private sector level between Sri Lanka and the UAE, with the view to mutually enhance experience, education and capabilities.
FACT FINDING
To conduct research on any causes that may have affected any of the above objectives and in finding remedial measures.
LIAISON
To assist and liaise with the Sri Lankan Embassy and Consulate in their endeavor to further develop/enhance Trade opportunities between Sri Lanka and the UAE and to work in tandem with the Sri Lankan Embassy Abu Dhabi and Consulate General Dubai on matters of mutual interest.
